Meet the Instructors Leading Our Pride Party at Tall Ship

Meet the instructors leading our Pride Party at Tall Ship and learn how fitness, community, and belonging have shaped their journeys. Plus, get a preview of what to expect in class this Saturday!
This Saturday, we're bringing Boston's fitness community together for a morning of movement, connection, and celebration at Tall Ship Boston.
In partnership with B/SPOKE, our Pride Party will feature two incredible workouts, local vendors, giveaways, waterfront views, and all the Pride energy you can handle. Whether you're joining us for Glutes + Core or Pilates Fusion, you'll be led by instructors who are passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to be themselves.
We caught up with some of the instructors leading the classes to learn more about their fitness journeys, the communities that have shaped them, and what they're most excited about for this event.

MEET CLAIRE
For Claire, fitness started as a workout but quickly became something much bigger.
"The confidence, friendships, and sense of belonging I discovered through movement had a profound impact on my life," she shares. "Becoming an instructor felt like a meaningful way to contribute to something bigger than myself and help others find that same sense of purpose, connection, and growth."
Community continues to be one of the driving forces behind her work.
"There's something really special about having people who support you, challenge you, and celebrate your wins," she says. "It's taught me that we're capable of so much more when we don't have to do it alone."
As we celebrate Pride Month, Claire hopes everyone can find a fitness space where they feel comfortable showing up as themselves.
"You deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are. The best communities make you feel seen, valued, and comfortable being yourself while also inspiring you to grow into the person you want to become."
What to Expect in Class
"Big Pride energy, iconic music, and a lot of fun. Come ready to move, party, and enjoy the incredible waterfront views. My hope is that you leave feeling more energized, connected, and inspired by the strength and positivity of this community."

MEET CAM
Movement has always been a part of Cam's life, but teaching wasn't always the plan.
"What started as taking classes for fun quickly turned into a passion for helping others feel strong, confident, and connected," she says. "I fell in love with the energy of group fitness and the way a great class can completely change someone's day."
Today, she's grateful to be teaching full-time and helping others discover the same confidence and connection that fitness has given her.
For Cam, community is at the center of everything.
"Some of my closest friendships and most meaningful connections have come through fitness," she says. "Whether it's celebrating milestones, supporting each other through challenges, or simply sharing an hour together in class, there's something special about people coming together through movement."
Her message for anyone searching for a supportive fitness community is simple:
"You deserve to take up space exactly as you are. A supportive fitness community should make you feel welcomed, celebrated, and empowered—not judged."
What to Expect in Class
"Expect good music, lots of energy, and a workout that leaves you feeling strong and empowered. Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, come ready to move, sweat, celebrate, and connect with an amazing community."

MEET TREY
Fitness has been part of Trey's life for as long as he can remember.
A former competitive swimmer and swim instructor, Trey eventually found his way into group fitness through a chance invitation to a spin class during college.
"I loved the music, the movement, and the motivation that came with riding bikes in the dark," he says. "Teaching fitness gave me the opportunity to step out of my shell, find my voice, and become part of an incredible community."
That sense of community remains one of his favorite parts of the fitness space today.
"One of the coolest things about fitness is that it's a team and an individual workout at the same time," Trey explains. "You're on your bike or your mat doing your own thing, but there's a real connection that comes from moving alongside others."
As we celebrate Pride Month, he emphasizes the importance of authenticity.
"Much of the fitness community, and B/SPOKE especially, stands on the belief that everyone is welcome to be authentically themselves."
What to Expect in Class
"GLUTES!" Trey jokes.
"But seriously, expect a fun bodyweight glutes and core class full of energy, challenges, and awesome music."
