Join us for a FREE Community LIFT Class, The Training Lab’s signature 50-minute full-body strength session. Expect a mat-based workout using dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and time-based intervals that will challenge you head to toe. Whether you’re new to strength training or a seasoned lifter, this class is designed to meet you where you’re at.
And because no Saturday morning sweat is complete without some fun, stick around after class for coffee from Shy Bird, socializing, and giveaways!
About The Training Lab Southie
The Training Lab Southie launched in June 2025 as the second location of The Training Lab (their first studio is in Weston, MA). Since opening, it’s quickly become a hub for strength and conditioning in the neighborhood. Here’s a breakdown of what they offer:
💪 LIFT — Their signature mat-based strength training class with dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and timed intervals.
🏋️ TRAIN — Small group personal training that uses all of the gym’s equipment. Self-paced, progressive, and designed to build serious strength.
🔥 SWEAT — Small group conditioning to complement TRAIN. Focuses on power, agility, metabolic conditioning, and performance.
⬆️ STEP — A modern twist on step aerobics. Rhythm-based cardio with coordination, endurance, and plenty of fun.
1V1 Personal Training — Their take on individualized training, tailored to your goals.
Don’t Miss LIFT CLUB
One of the coolest things at The Training Lab is their LIFT CLUB — think run club, but for lifting. Every other Thursday at 6:30 PM, they host a community LIFT session that ends with a walk over to Castle Island Brewing Company for drinks and socializing. Pro tip: singles are encouraged to wear black 👀.
